This section describes a simple method for receiving and reading mail. The connection to the provider is activated only for the time required to download the messages; mail is then read offline.
- 1. Activate the connection to the provider.
- 2. Run fetchmail.
- 3. Deactivate the connection.
- 4. Read mail with mutt.
