请教在NetBSD的X上配置GeForce 8800 GT显卡的问题(新开)

期待NetBSD6.0在桌面开发上的进展。

控制台下运行wsmoused以后,鼠标没有问题,可以移动,我原来也担心是键鼠和显卡不匹配导致的,键盘不能摘,但是鼠标摘后重新启动系统,还是没有xtrem窗口,也无法做进一步测试。鼠标是转轮鼠标(20元的假微软),在xorg.conf里,尝试修改“4 5 6 7”为"4 5"或“4 5 6”结果是一样的。
我也不能因为要上Xen就摘掉2G内存呢,尽管这样做X可能就没有问题了,而且也可以配置Xen了。:rolleyes:

删除了,/etc/X11/xorg.conf, 系统接着报/etc/xorg.conf有错误,来不及多看,一样还是删除。此时系统下已经没有xorg.conf这个可用的配置文件了,但是启动X,系统还是老样子,花屏,键鼠无反应,ctrl+alt+space无法退出X,Ctrl+ALT+del也无效,只能按电源键,但有时系统会自动重新启动。——紧接着就是检查磁盘(心疼呀,这台电脑的硬盘这几天折腾的够呛:))

装的什么窗口管理器,NetBSD什么版本?

抱歉,看来我解释的不清楚,未安装任何其它的窗口管理器,除了在安装系统时选择了full, 系统应该只有X,NetBSD的版本是amd64 5.02稳定版——运行intel Q6600上,内存4G,显卡geforce 8800GT。

不是上图所显示的情况,我这里大部分时候屏幕显示的是粗横纹、黑灰交织、看起来像斑马线;偶尔像正常的X11R6的样子(出现类似OpenBSD的X下背景——小网格、),但是鼠标显示不正常,看着拖泥带水似的,而且键鼠也无法操作。

拔下鼠标后,重新启动系统、键入startx,系统可以进入X管理器,且鼠标的图标显示正常,但是我不知如何进行下一步操作来测试,例如用键盘操作来开一个shell窗口(这样至少可以排除在X下键盘有问题了)。

我还想尝试一下重新编译X,怀疑是系统原来的X代码问题,但还没有在用户指南上找到方法。

Crtl+Alt+space不能退出X,在X下Crtl+Alt+Del也无法重新启动NetBSD,而且在连接网线的情况下,网络正常,但无法ssh到系统上。

晚些时候我上图“解释”一下我所说的“花屏”吧——实际上说横向交叉条纹更贴切一些,这点上我的描述有误。

startx后会启动默认的twm窗口管理,有3个term会打开,不用开shell,看不到的话还是不太正常,如果ctrl+alt+space能退出或ctrl+alt+F1切回终端键盘就没问题。

我知道,NetBSD应该开3个xterm窗口,是绿色网格纹的,NetBSD在我的更老机器上X没有问题,但是这台比较新的机器上不行。

上张屏幕截图吧,进入X后系统会自动重新启动,这张是直接用数码相机照的局部,不是全部屏幕拷贝。

我电脑集成n卡,xorg -configure 生成xorg.conf后,只修改24位色和分辨率就可用了。

确实不能排除这个可能性,我现在想明天把24位深和1920x1200的分辨率分别降一挡再试试看,实在不行我也可以试试freebsd的8.1,看看是否也有此问题, 因为驱动还是源自nvidia提供给FB的驱动。

设置了windows下显示的水平和垂直刷新率,没有降低色深(明天会继续尝试),但是降低了分辨率,测试时:

X -config ~/xorg.conf.new

测试时可以看见灰色网格背景和"x"鼠标图案,鼠标移动也正常。此时可以按ctrl+Alt+backspace来正常退出X,但显示一些信息(II)——有些模块已经built in,还有一些字体无法初始化。——我没有记录下这些信息。不过好在没有了原来的(EE)错误了。

但是运行startx后,鼠标还是不能动,也未出现shell窗口,而且系统还会自动重新启动。:p

第九章的英文版已经有变化了,我先参考一下这里吧:http://www.x.org/wiki/FAQ。里面有关于Nvidia的描述。

很奇怪,即使设置了DisplaySize和降低了颜色位深及分辨率,而且在X -config xrog.conf.new时测试正常(但是还是没有出现三个shell窗口)的境况下,运行startx还是有问题,系统仍然会自动重新启动,而且尝试按照http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Xor ... 0.E7.8E.87
里的设置,进行了,水平同步、刷新率、色深、分辨率的设置,startx后虽然出现了网格背景、但是鼠标不能移动(与测试时的情况不同),系统会自动重新启动,ctrl+alt+backspace失效、Ctrl+alt+backspace失效。很诡异。

lionux推荐一个吧,不过我觉得这个系统上的默认设置都存在问题,也有可能其它的窗口管理器也不行。

上面的帖子编辑时好慢,也许是vbb4的bug,补充一点,运行startx时,系统还多显示了一条信息:

Shared object "libsm.so.6" not found

配置桌面确实很麻烦。

netbsd的X真是不好整,现在这条提示错误没有了——Shared object "libsm.so.6" not found
,但是X还是启动不起来。:mad:

折腾好几天了,决定先放放。

可以装快照版,源码编译有时不成功。OpenBSD有问题没?
